BPS Carbonlite rods?

Featured Replies

I checked them out about a week ago at the Atlanta BPS and wasn't overly impressed. They are light, but the guides are very flimsy. Some of the guides on two of the three rods I looked at were already bent, and not at the foot. The rings themselves were tweaked which gave them a shape similar to a Pringle or wave washer.

They may turn out to be great rods, but personally, I'd hold off for a year or so and wait for the real reviews. I'm talking about the reviews from people who have used them for a full season, at least.
