Any one ever used an Okuma Reflexions baitcasting rod, It looks cool and is only $60, but is there a better option out there for the same price or cheaper?

Here is some specs:

    * IM-6 graphite blank construction

    * Low-profile stainless steel guide frames

    * Hard zirconium inserts compatible with braided line

    * Split butt reduces weight and improves balance

    * Premium cork fore and rear grips

    * Stainless steel hooded reel seat

    * Thru-blank reel seat with exposed blank

    * Limited lifetime manufacturer's warranty

Okuma, does it always equal crap?

No, not always.

One of my very spinning rods is a 6' 6" Okuma Concept (C3-S-661MH)

Power> Medium heavy

Action> Fast

Lure Wgt> 1/4 to 1oz

Line Wgt> 10 to 20 lb

Titanium Guide Frames <> Zirconium Inserts <> Fuji Reel Seat (ported) <> Carbon Grips (no cork) <> $150

I agree with the above post.  I have also seen these rods in person. They aren't too shabby at all. I think it's a vendetta competitor.

They look to be, from a price standpoint and as a split grip.

the reflexxions rod is nice , but their EVX rod is VERY nice !!!!! and only $100.00. check it out -http://www.okumafishing.com/family/297594/EVx

I bought the Okuma C3 (Carbon Cone Concept or something) casting rod last year.  The rod is relatively light.  The carbon grips are really nice.  THe rods is a MH and loads up nicely with lures in the rated range.

I am very happy with the rod.
