Reel Repair

Featured Replies

Are there any members who do reel repair?

I just acquired two shimano reels: Corsair CS200A and  Callcutta 150, from what I read they are awesome reels, but these seem to have seen better days. Just wondering if it would be easier to move on and buy new ones or have these repaired.

Both reels engage properly, but the calcutta does not reel smoothly at all. Any tips, pointers, advice is much appreciated.

**I am not very good at breaking reels down so I try not to, outside oiling and basic maintenance .**

Thanks,

Dave

Taking a look around yeah there are a few here that work reels. But only one in a position to actually talk about it here on the forum....

The man above this post is who you want to talk with.  He is the Master when it comes to reel repair and maintenance (has he has great reel servicing products as well).

Elite,

A good cleaning and lube should go a long way.PM, call or go to www.delawarevalleytackle.com. BassResource.com members get 10% off.

Thanks,
