I need a new rod for shallow crankbaits. What do you guys recommend? I am thinking about getting is custom built, so I need a blank indication. I will use lures between 1/4 and 1/2oz.

Check out Kistlers new Z bones if you really want to spend some ducks on a awesome custom and Trey is using Gary Loomis's new blanks but if you just want a good off the shelf reasonably priced the Kistler Carbon Steel 6'9 medium is a decent small crankbait rod and you can find them on sale for less than 100 bucks.
