FROG ROD!

Featured Replies

I have looking for a descent frog rod for under $60. I dont fish frogs all that much so i dont need a really nice rod, but do you guys know of a rod that will do the job for the price. I prefer a 7'2" or 7'3"

Thanks,

VC

I was just about to post the same question, my guess is a 7 2  heavy... just need to find one in that range, :-/

i think there is a diawa light and tough frog rod in the flea market for $80

I have a Vendetta 7'3 HXF I'm trying to sell. Perfect frog rod. Lemme know.

Look at an Ugly stick. Sixty bucks is right in thier range. They make plenty of heavy, 6'9 to 7'2 that's perfect for froggin'.

i use a heavy power, fast action, 7' baitcaster. not a dedicated frog rod but it does well.

if you own a pitching/flipping rod and dont use frogs too much, id use that.
