On my reel, I find that two of my centrifugal brake weights cannot be turned off. They do not click back into place. These weights on any other post click back, and any other weight on these two posts will not click back. I was curious if everyone else is the same, or if I have a defective brake?

Seems kind of weird to me, because the two that cannot be turned off are right next to each other, and I've always been told to keep the brakes "symmetrical."

Take/send it back, all of the brakes should have the ability to be turned off....

Send it in and they will promply fix it (or replace the reel). I've had great customer service from Abu.

Thanks for the reply guys. It's still within 30 days from Gander so I will take it back to them and see if they have a replacement. Being that I'm left handed, it's iffy.
