Crankin' Sticks?

Featured Replies

I'm looking into purchasing a new rod to use for deep diving crankbaits that will cost no more than $100. Any suggestions on brands or specs? Thanks for your help.

I would go for a BPS Crankin Stick, either the 7', 7'6'', or 7'10'' MH

I agree. BPS Crankin' Sticks are real good rods for the price.

Are these still around $40 when on sale? If so, they are a great rod for the price. I used one about two years ago and it was great for throwing shallow cranks.

X3 on the BPS Crankin' Stick, I just picked up a 7'6" telescopic MH version which replaces my old one. This years model is supposed to be 20% lighter than the previous version. What I like about this rod is that it can handle deep divers with ease, it's made out of graphite with a forgiving tip. The last couple of years I've done very well with deep divers and this stick has helped me put a lot of fish in the boat.
