I currently have a Gloomis MBR782C IMX that I love for lighter lures, but I dont think it's fast enough for light plastics. So I am thinking about the above two rods, I will have to order either rod sight unseend so I am looking for a little help. The Powell gets a ton of good press on this site and others and is only $139. I don't know that much about the Mossyback rod from Loomis, is it worth the extra $100.00????? I know the BCR803 GLX is the bomb and will be my NEXT rod but for now I am looking for a lighter action rod.

at the IMX level. You can probably find what you

want on our Flea Market with a little patience.

Otherwise, there are a lot of options around $150

that might be a better choice than the Mossyback

series Loomis.
