this reel is a spitting image of the pflueger president. i liked everything about the reel with a problem. the thing as a whole felt sluggish.i opened the reel up to find the thing was packed full of grease.

after a quick bath and a proper lube the thing works like a million bucks.

Why would you do such a thing to your son?  Did he forget your birthday or something?

Nice job.  I don't have the cajones to disassemble a spinning reel.

hes put 3 rods/reels on the bottom of the lake. im not about to buy the kid good Daiwa gear.

what i was told is the frame is copied from pflueger, then stuffed with BPS parts. i think the frame is aluminum though...
