Which line has less stretch, Berkeley Big Game or Original Stren?

Big Game.  A better line overall.

I thought that Big Game was a stretchy mono. Unless I misunderstood Berkly, they stated that Big Game had more stretch than XL, XT or Sensation. However, that communication occurred a number of years ago.

Shallow Water Angler did a test many years ago. It did not include Big Game but did include Stren Original. Here are there results:

Big Game has a lot of stretch. Stren, XT and Dura Tuf (discontinued) less.

I like both of those lines, but if i had to chose im going with the big game...

Excellent! Thanks for the chart. Another review from the early 2000s showed original Stren having excellent abrasion resistance and coming in about third place overall out of 100 mono and fluorocarbon lines, regardless of price. Too bad we can't get a head to head comparison with Stren and Big Game.
