Stren Super Braid Hi-Vis Gold

Featured Replies

I used the 14lb test about 4 yrs ago,and the yellow coating was literally just coming off on the guides and roller bearing, flaking off on everything! Anyone here use it currently, wondering if it has gotten any better.. Thanks :-/

I think almost all braid is going to do that

Negative....losing color over time is normal,,not a mess of flakes all over the place.

I've used the 40 lb. for spinnerbait line, but it was the green. It just faded like any other braid, but didn't flake off.

I have 30# test PowerPro on two of my bass rigs, both with 20# test fluorocarbon leaders. Bright yellow helps these old eyes tremendously and I haven't noticed any of the color wearing off.

Power Pro takes a while, has that nasty coating on it. It will fade though, just takes a bit longer cause of that coating.  Also,,it doesn't appear that Stren even makes Super Braid any longer, all I see on the site is Sonic Braid.
