Daiwa B/C gear swap?

Featured Replies

Will Daiwa Zillion crazy cranker gears fit into a Daiwa Fuego?  I have 6 Fuegos and wouldn't mind turning one into a crankin reel.

Get the TDZ 5:1 gear set.  I just changed over a Fuego to 5:1 last month.  I had previously measured 27" IPT with the stock 6.3:1 gears, now it's 20.5".

I would suggest getting a TDZ handle from Daiwa for the Fuego.  It knocks a little weight off (not much but anything helps!) and is smoother with the bearings under the knobs.  A very nice $40 upgrade.

Naw just call Daiwa and they'll help you with everything.  They were extremely nice to me.

The Zillion gear set will not fit the Fuego, the TDZ 103 P  ( 5;:1 ) gear set does.
