Crankbait Rod Help for TW Purchase

Featured Replies

  • Super User

I'm planning to pick up an all-purpose crankbait rod from TW's 4th of July sale. The sale excludes Daiwa, Loomis, Shimano, and Wright & McGill, so my options are unfortunately limited. My first choice would be the St Croix Premier, but they do not carry that rod for some reason.

At this point I am leaning towards the Mojo or Lamiglas Excel. I have the Mojo S68MXF and the Lamiglas XL743C and XL704S and have been pleased with them all. The crankbait XL's have a lifetime warranty and are from a glass blank while the Mojo's are 5 year and graphite. Any thoughts??? Any advice on rods I may be overlooking would also be much appreciated. Thanks!
