ARE YOU KIDDING ME!!!!!!

Featured Replies

So i was browsing through the ebay swimbait's and look what I found.

Take a look:

http://cgi.ebay.com/link-to-buy-6-huddleston-deluxe-swimbaits-for-25_W0QQitemZ120219219563QQihZ002QQcategoryZ31693QQssPageNameZWDVWQQrdZ1QQcmdZViewItem

So let me get this straight....on auction is a LINK (Which will cost you $2) to where you can buy a 6" hudd for $25.  Tell you what guys, i'm going to put this guy outta business.  Would it possibly be this linkhttp://www.huddlestonstore.com/index.asp?PageAction=VIEWPROD&ProdID=17.  HMMMM... that was a tough one, straight from the manufacture.  At least he is throwing in FREE SHIPPING!!!!

How stupid are people.  Does he really think someone will buy that link.  It really amazes me what people sell on ebay

Report him. :o

I don't think he will sell it, but his auction to a provide a link seems perfectly ok under the ebay rules as I understand them. He makes no attempt to hide the fact that he is only selling a link. There are alot of dummy's out there, but no one dummy enough to bite this baloney. (yet)

Thanks for reminding me that I need to grab a few of those 6" Hudd's.  :-[ :'(

When Ken first put his little shad baits up for sale, he actually hid the link very cleverly and told only the people that were on his newsletter. I saw no fewer than 10 auctions for that link and every one of them went for more than $10.

It takes all kinds. Personally, I have had my 6" hudds for about a month ;D

people do stuff like this all the time. It clearly says that it's only for a link though, anyone who falls for it needs to be banned from ebay...

I remember that auction link to those shads.  I went over to his site and found the link.  It was hidden good.  If memory serves me right, it was a symbol you clicked on, correct?

Yeah it is the same trinity of hooks symbol as the 6" is right now, except it was alot more cleverly hidden, this one is obvious.

Those 6" baits WILL be winning tournaments across the country this year, mark my words!

Like the saying goes, "There's a sucker born every minute."

I find it hard to believe that a large online company, like ebay, would allow this sort of thing.  The bad part is somebody out there will probably bid on it.

Happens all the time. Its legal as long as it is under $100.

If it seems to good to be true, It probably is.

The guy also has 100% feedback from some good buyers.  I don't get it.  A few of the buyers have stores and a large amount of transactions.

FYI: while we were fishing Lower Otay Lake last weekend, we had two guys tell us that they had caught 8 & 10 pounders the previous weekend on one of those huddleston 6" shad colored lures. Guess they are worth the $$$s(??). Any of you folks have any luck with them?

I guess at first the link was a little misleading, but now it actually says 6" huddleston.  I've had mine for a month or so, but haven't really thrown them much except to see the action.  I"m sure they will whack them this year
