are trilene 100% and stren the same line?

A local tackle shop has 110 yard spools of stren for $2.99 (not a typo!). I picked a few up and am more than impressed. Its a great line so far. I know its been speculated that trilene and stren are the same, but does anyone know for sure?

    I don't know for sure but I've used both and can't tell a difference.

    Theyre both made under Pure Fishing so theyre might be, but not noticeable.
