Gander Mountain rods

Featured Replies

So my wife,my son and I went to Hershey Park in Pennsylvania and on the way we drove by a Gander Mountain and had to stop in. I have never been to one.

After strolling through their fishing department I come across their in house rods.

I must say I was very impressed. All the rods were under $150 and all had Fuji Alconite guides on them. If anyone is interested in a sub-$150 rod, I would definitely check these out.

I agree. These rods are great and very sensitive. Great prices too

I have a couple Gander rods from a few years ago.  A Walleye series and a Titanium series.  Both with SiC guides.  Got them both on clearance.  Great rods, but I HATE the foregrip on the Ti, so I removed it.

My dad has a couple of they're 80 dollar combos which he likes tremendously, but then again thats the best rod hes ever used. Personally i would rather buy a Falcon over any Gander Mountain rod ( Including the X Factor ). Also they are not very comfortable but thats all personal preference!

I have a Gander Tournament Pike stick, 7' MH.  Wonderfull rod.  Light, casts a mile, sensitive. strong.  Would like to get another.
