Seriously though, probably any MH or H Flippin Stick would really work. I've been happy enough with my MH Crucial flippin stick. I'll be buying a H eventually to dedicate to frogging specifically.

I think they retail at like 170-180 bucks.  Pretty sensitive as well.  I use mine as a multipurpose rod.

I highly recomend a shimano crucial CRC-76H flipping stick. i have used a handful of frog rods and this takes the cake! tough as nails and can't beat the lifetime over the counter warranty.

Thats the model I'm looking towards getting myself.  If BPS carried them in stock, I'd own one already.  I use the CRC-X76MH.

Dude seriously, I know Vendetta's are what "everyone" has, but the one I have is actually legit. I have the 7'3 HXF, which is the most perfect frog rod I've come across. It's not tip-heavy (with a reel on it) and it's strong as a mo-fo.

a heavy powered , fast action rod in the brand you choose .........  :)

130.00 Daiwa -S Rod 7'6 Heavy make a good low priced rod that is good for frogs and is a really good very very tough and pretty sensitive flipping/Pitching stick

140.00 Team Daiwa Light & Tough Frog Rod makes a nice frog rod and a decent flipping stick...

I believe the S rod is more sensitive tougher slightly heavier but better balanced and the reel seats on S rods are really comfortable.. If I had to fish a cheaper frogging rod or flipping stick it would be a 7.6 S rod. I have both of these rods I havent fished them in years but I remember I liked them both and really liked the S rod and its a broom stick lol plenty of power from tip to butt in that rod and if you dont abuse the rod it isnt gonna break they are wicked strong.

Dobyns Savvy 735C if you don't mind split grips. If you want a full grip then look at the 735C and 736C in the Champion models. Can be had new for around $190.

The Lamiglas Excel Frog rod is about as good as it gets for a 100 dollar rod. For around 150 or so, the Powell Frog rod is pretty darn good and for just under 200, the Lamiglas Certified Pro frog rod is awful hard to beat. Just a few that popped into mind. There are a few others I have used also that are good to, but these popped into mind first.

I have a Kistler LTA helium for froggin, but it's super sensitive and makes an excellent pitchin/flippin rod and kinda wanted to designate it for that only. found myself changing lures way too often this weekend on that rod. frog to jig to frog to jig and so on.

To those that suggested Powell frog rods, they are both MH, which is a no no for frog fishing where i'm from. gotta be at least a heavy. kinda between Saavy and Lamiglas now. thanks a ton guys.
