St Croix Mojo bass Vs. BPS Carbonlite

Featured Replies

I am looking to buy a new spinning rod and have narrowed it down to these two. Both rods are 6'8" Medium X-fast. which one should I get?

Carbonlite. More sensitive. lighter. not as tip heavy

Mojo. Better guides, better warranty, cork grip, and the ability to trade up to a higher-end rod at a later date thru St. Croix.

Go to Bass Pro. Get both rods and put reels on them. Then make your own decision

I've used both and I like the Carbonlite a lot better. They were both casting rods though, not sure if that changes anything. I know the abu garcia vendetta casting rods are great, but their spinning rods are not.

Thanks for the advice fellas, I was still having trouble deciding so I bought one of each. figured I would try them both out and maybe take one back or if they are both decent I will keep them.

Having used both, the Carbonlites are certainly more sensitive, a lot lighter, and better balanced.  Mojo's have a better warranty
