Re: Best Fishing Line

Yo-Zuri Hybrid probably.

I agree with that.  But, if you need mono, Suffix is great stuff!

I also like the Suffix brands. I am a crankbait throwing fool and their cranking line is outstanding. Very limp and very strong. This will be the only line on my crankbait reels. It is a little more dense like fluorocarbon so it lets the bait dive easily. I do like the yozuri hybrid for spinning gear. 8-)

It all depends on the technique you are using and where you are fishing.

Dodge guy, How much do they pay you or how many spools of that line did they give you to post so many pics of it??? LOL just kidding but boy your sure do love that stuff.

I use the yozuri hybrid line too, but am thinking about getting away from it.  It just doesn't seem to have the abrasion resistance that some others do.  Maybe I just need to check my line more often. lol nothing like setting the hook and having an instant snap. :(

Try some P-line CXX. It coils a bit more, but I don't find this to be an issue at all on casting gear and its abrasion resistance and strength is unmatched. It's also cheap, so if you don't like it you're only out ~$10.

Thanks for the heads up, going to Academy this evening maybe I'll pick some up.  Do they make a clear braid?  I've heard of invisabraid, is it any good?
