BPS PQ vs Daiwa Exceler 4:9

Featured Replies

I am buying a new reel for cranking this week, not looking to spend a lot, really wanted it under the $119 range the Citica's are, but they don't have the gear ratio for deep cranking.  I have done a few searches on here, and these seem to be two popular ones in that range.  Has anyone compared these two? Or are there any others with the low gear ratio I should be considering in that price range.  Thanks in advance for the help.

Stick with the Pro Qualifier.

Best advice on reels. Under $120.00, go with the PRO-Q. Honestly, it is a great reel. I have several higher priced reels(stx, curado) and the Pro-Q is "pretty" close to those. For the money, it can't be beat.
