Anyone using Micro-guides?

Featured Replies

There nice, I have a Kistler micro magnesium rod. I don't know how much they help or hinder... but there not as big (obviously) so they are easy to store next to other rods and don't get as tangled up.

i have some of the falcon Cara T7 micro rods and i like them

more contact points on the rod = more sensitivity

And if so how do you like them?

I was wondering the same...also wonder how well the eyes hold up being that most of them have no bracing like standard eyes do...seems to me if not careful they will break/bend easier?

no i thought the same thing before i got them but actually they feel more sturdy. since they are so small there is no real leverage you can put on them to bend them.

Micro Guides are great !

I selected them on a Otterods custome using an NFC HM blank.  Mine are attached using a spiral wrap technique and they are awesome.

I wish all mfg's would switch to micro guides for casting rods.
