Any good for crankbaits?

Featured Replies

I have a 6 foot 8 inch Shimano Cumara, power is medium, and the action is extra fast. Would it be any good for crankbaiting or is it to stiff?

No it's not . Spinnerbaits and plastics are the best for this particular rod.

Might be good for shallow cranks, but it will excel with t-rigs and small spinners IMO

I 2nd the opinion use it for t rigs and small spinners.  Probably use it for small shallow crankbaits but I am not a fan of extra fast tips, just a personal preference.
