Cabelas Now Carries Dobyns Rods

Featured Replies

I just finished reviewing the 2011 Cabelas fishing catalog and was pleased to see that they are now carrying Dobyns rods. I've already purchased three Champion Extreme rods from TW and Bass Tackle Depot and they are great rods. Can't wait til Cabelas has their next good sale.

I wish Bass Pro would follow, because my nearest Cabela's is in PA  :-/

Thats great news.  Been wanting to try these rods out.

Later, ;)

I think this is a great move. Aside from those on the west coast, many guys don't get the chance to see/feel these rods before they purchase. I think they will become much more popular now, especially if other retailers like Bass Pro do the same.

That's great to see them get in the mainstream.

Definitely great to see them at Cabelas, should really help the guys from across the states to see what great rods they truly are.

Just looked at them @ Cabelas Website....

All Rods are "Backorderable"!

They have not received their order yet.

That's outstanding news for the company, like David said, now people can see what they've been missing.  There isn't a more balanced, better feeling, better value rod in the market, IMO.  Not that I've seen.

I wonder, will Cabela's honor the $60 over-the-counter warranty, "No Hassle" warranty?  Because that would be great.  I'd much, much rather drive 40 miles than have to pay to ship it to California and wait for it to be processed and returned.
