Local Wally World Trip and found new AG rods......

Featured Replies

Hey All

I stopped at my local Wally World today to pick up some cheap line to get my fishing fix during the cold winter.

while walking down the line aisle i decided to checout the ods they had in stock.  I came across an Abu Garcia Cardinal Tournament Grade spinning rod. #CTG561L, 5'6" light, 1/16 - 3/8oz lure, 2-8lb test....$33

I took it off the rack, gave it a few shakes and whips and seems very solid.  the tip was VERY flimsy, but nothing that would cause alarm on quality.  it felt really nice!!  ;)

has anyone bought one of these let a lone see them in the store?  i checked BPS, nothing.  this is the first time i have ever seen these rods anywhere.

any users?  good or bad?  :-/

I was there today but didn't pay much attention to their rods. They only have a very few I have much use for.

I did notice that they do have a Cardinal reel/rod combo though. It's the 300 series reels. But they're about $60 I think.

I ended up leaving without getting a single thing, not even the Rapala X-rap 10 I had in my hand.

Hey, I thought you already ordered  an All Star IM10 rod.  Didn't you??
