Gonna be using a Revo S and 7ft med. carbonlite for this technique. Any suggestions for line? Not sure about flourocarbon cause I have never used it before. Lookin @ Berkley Sensation in 12lb. Any advice would be appreciated

Yo-Zuri Ultra soft is pretty good and I'm gonna go with Cabelas 100% flourocarbon in 10#. I've tried the 6# on my spinning gear for cranks and it worked well. It's $11 for a 200yds spool of 10# and $16 for a spool of 400yds.

Using a Daiwa Exceler and a 7ft Kistler Mag TS for my baitcast cranking setup.

i really like stren magnathin for crankbaits.  It is a mono type line but its pretty good.

10# Yo Zuri Ultra Soft or 8-10# P-Line CXX. All but the stretchiest mono will work fine too, especially if you're using a fast action rod because that little bit of stretch will compensate for the fast taper of the rod. But if you're using a moderate action rod with stretchy mono, you'll have a hard time getting a solid hookset before the bass can spit the lure, or so it seems. That's why I like mod action rods with low stretch copoly line, it's the best of both worlds because you have the sensitivity and abrasion resistance of copoly and the advantage of being able to launch lures a mile and keep fish hooked that a crankin' stick will give you.

I use 10lb CXX for mid-deep and 12lb Floro-clear for shallow-mid .  I've tried several types of lines for crankin and prefer P-line for moving techniques.

I like 10lb CXX for shallow to deep. If I'm fishing shallow in heavier cover I bump up to 12-15lb CXX. I primarily use shallow to mid-depth crankbaits. If I had a rod dedicated to deep cranking and I did it more often I would most likely try fluorocarbon.
