Falcon crankbait rod

Featured Replies

I was at the toy store, (my favorite local tackle store), and picked up a Bucoo M 7'crankbait rod. The rod was rated for 1/4 to 1/2 oz lures. The rod felt great and I would like a crankbait rod, with a little backbone, for throwing 1/4 oz shallow diving baits. Later, I discovered online that the rod comes with micro guides as well. Does anyone have any experience with either rod or any of the Falcon crankbait rods? Any feedback is appreciated.

Falcon makes great rods.  I've always been pleased with the Low Riders and the one Cara I have.

I have a 7' Cara Reaction that I love to throw larger cb's on but I don't have any experience with the Bucoo's sorry.

If I could afford 'em I'd have about 15 more Cara's  ;D

just picked up a 7'3" cara amistad with micros. its unreal.  I love it. as for the bucoo, I have a couple including the one you listed.  I find it a little soft for larger cranks.  I wish they would make the 7'6 in m/h. that would be a great rod for deep cranks. bucoos are solid rods though. I'd buy again.
