from what i hear they are the most accurate scale a fisherman can get.

i'd sure love to have one  :;)

I have heard nothing but great reviews on it. Its a little pricy but supposed to be durable and accurate. I just wish it was digital, I would have one in a second!!

thats why im waiting for someone who has used them here to comment. Im gonna buy one if it is as accurate as the reviews say it is. Thats all i need is another fish gripper with an inaccurate weight reading

I don't personally own one but a buddy of mine does. I have used it several times and it is a top notch product. I didn't test it against another scale so I can't say much for its accuracy. What I can say is that it is very smooth and solid in its operation. If I were in the market for that type of tool, Boga would be the only way to go.

Well i just ordered it from cabelas. I will post a review of my own on this site for accuracy. Thanks for the response everyone

Just be sure to attach it to a big float in case it gets dropped in the drink. I've seen the people on the saltwater shows use them with a big net float attached to the handle.

The Boga Grip can be certified, that's how good it is! If you have it certified, recorded weights will be recognized by the IGFA for state or World Records.

8-)

How would one go about getting a scale certified?

Every state has a department that checks grocery store scales and other businesses that sell by weight. Call them and they can tell you where to go or where to send the scales.
