Featured Replies

Just looking for some opinions as to which would be better for casting and pitching 5-6 and ocasionally 7" weightless senkos?

I've thought of that too.  Actually I have a opportunity to buy either of those used.  Also,  I will be mostly using it for docks,  weedlines/pads at medium to fairly close distances.

I have the Loomis and love it. Best rod I've ever owned.

I use it for weightless plastics, small jigs, topwater and jerkbaits.

have fished the 703 and the 803 side by side...both are excellent rods and either will do what you're looking for them to do.

that said, i much prefer the glx...in my hands, it is the more accurate of the two for pitching...the more sensitive, as well.

ymmv.
