What size weight do you prefer using when you rig plastics T-rigged? How light and how heavy do you go and when?  Thanks

I tend to use light weights, like 1/16 or 1/8 or weightless, but that's just me. If I were you, I'd experiment, basing the weight on the depth and desired rate of fall. There's no right or wrong. Whatever works and you feel confident with is fine.

If you're just starting out it's probably best to use a 1/4 oz. weight.Unless you're fishing really deep.

 The only reason I say this is because when you're learning it's a lot easier to feel the bite with a little more weight on there(or so it seemed to me).Now that I've got a feel for it I like to throw everything from weightless on up to 3/8 oz depending on different factors.Sometimes with a light weight or weightless you'll just have to watch the line as you can't always feel it.It jsut kinda moves off(or towards you).When in doubt.....hooksets are free.

With winds less than 5 mph I start with 3/16 oz, with winds over 5 mph 1/4 oz.; I very seldom go beyond 5/16 oz which is used with depths greater than 25'.
