Roboworm Products...opinions

Featured Replies

what do you guys think of Roboworm products? In specific the zipperwormd and the robocraws?

seems like nice colors, and a lot of love goes into the pouring...how are they in the water?

Can't comment on the two you have listed.  I picked up 5 packs of the Roboworm 4 finesse worms last spring because I ran out of the old style Berkley hand poured finesse worms.  I like this type of worm for early spring.  Although the Roboworm have some outstanding colors, I didn't like them as much.  I didn't think they were quite as soft, and lacked some action compared to the Berkley.  Bottom line for me was they didn't produce as well as the old style Berkley. This year I'm going to go back to Berkley and try the new style hand poured finesse worms.

I haven't tried the zipperworms or robocraws, but the straight tail and curly tail worms are some of the best plastic worms on the market IMO.

I agree...the straight tail worms are one of my favorite lures. A secret to my club anglers  ;)

I like robo worms in Aarons magic. I have had good success with these and I would recommend them.

I have not used the two that you asked about but I have used the 6" straight tail worm in Aaron's magic.  It is a floating worm and I have caught a lot of fish on them as a shaky head and t-rig.  I have seen fish up to 5 pounds caught on this worm.  It is a rescue bait for me in tournaments.  The only down side that I have encountered with them is that they are really soft and get torn up easily.

I like any style roboworm as long as it's the midnight color.

I agree fellows, those super soft, highly buoyant zipper worms are Killer!

As LCpointer indicated, those who like black worms (junebug)

with a bright blue tail will LOVE the color called "Midnight"

Unhappily, the 5" shakin' worm is not available in Midnight :'(
