Whats the main differences in these rods is the extreme worth the extra cash.

The blank and the wrap. Also I think the guides but don't quote me im not 100% on the guides.

But yes if they have the champion extreme in your rod preference. go for it. I know the regular extreme has more choices.

It's all about personal budget. Is the extra money worth the advantages? Yes, but only if it fits your budget. Little lighter, more sensitive and flashy, everything is just stepped up a bit with the rods.

  It's worth the extra money, if you can spend it. If you can't, the Champions are still great rods.

I'd say a 4 power for jigs up to about 5/8 oz, and a 5 power for heavier jigs.

I would agree. I will also add that as much as I love my DX744C, I can't seem to put down my Champion 735C for t-rigs and jigs. Latley my go to bait has been a t-rigged brush hog with a 3/8oz tungsten weight that I have been throwing on the 735C. I have another one that I plan to use for big blades and small swimbaits. I think it may be the best all around rod in the entire Dobyns lineup.

I'd recommend the 735C. I have one for jigs and another for frogs. The 734C is a little too soft and too moderate to the be well rounded jig rod, it's better suited to spinnerbaits, buzzbaits, and wakebaits.

yep, 735C might be my favorite.  That or the DX743c
