I just bought my second President.  Anyone else impressed by the performance for the price of these reels???  I also noticed that I get fewer line fouls with the one I bought a year and a half ago than with the other spinning reels I own.  Is that because of something to do with the reel??  My friend who fishes with me and uses the same baits gets a lot more tangles also.  I change the line on all of my reels about the same time, so I doubt it has to do with that. 

maybe he's spooling his wrong or using stiff line.

Agree with  hootersdoug; I've had my Presidential for about 2 years now and haven't had any issues with it, including line twists.  Not sure if we got lucky and got the line on right but for whatever reason it works great for the price.

i own 2 and love them both.  they are a great value.

i would recommend them anyone.. 

This is good to hear about the President I just bought one too  the 6720 micro for UL app.

A buddy of mine that can afford much more expensive gear goes with Presidents... absolutely loves that reel.

Pflueger spinning reels in general are a great value IMO. I've never owned a President, but I have a Trion spinning reel that's close to 10 years old now and its still my go to spinning reel. My next spinning reel will most likely either be a President, or one of the gold Supremes that are on clearance at Gander, depending on if I have enough money to make the purchase while they're still available.

I got the gold Supreme XT too while BPS had their clearance. Initial impressions so far seems nice reel.
