Sam Rayburn

Featured Replies

Anyone here have Sam as their home lake? I am thinking of fishing a tourney there in June and haven't fished it in 20 years. Just looking for some insight.

We fished Rayburn a few weeks back.    Rain and wind, but we had some good numbers.    Two 30 lb sacks took top honors.

We will be down there late April for 3 day tournament, post again and I'll give some updates then.     She was low in Feb, bass was in the grass getting ready to spawn.

Sharelunker was caught yesterday on Sam.    First one since the two in 2005.    13.25, she fell to a red lizzard to a guy from Sam Rayburn Tx.

She looked as if she was in the middle of spawning, she was roughed up on the undersides, she has been fanning and rubbing alot.

Dogwoods are in blossom in East Tx, means the spawn is on in full swing.

Way to go Sam!!!!!   Nice toad.
