There are smallies in there but no largemouth. i also fish Box butte reservoir, and the lakes in bridgeport.Box bute has largemouth but no smallies.and bridgeport has largemouth only also. I have been to minatare but not in years. might have to give it a try next time i am up there. september most likely. I just fished box butte in may and we caught a few there. didnt have a boat so it makes it tough. The only times I have been there I have gone with my dad and he likes so walleye fish so we went for walley .I haven't done any bass fishing there so as of right now I don't know where there catching the bass so if I catch some bass up there next time I go I will tell you.
