HEY CATT

Featured Replies

Hey Catt, on the 18th(sat) im launching at my usual launch site Willow Oak. I have 4 spots that I can't leave that lake without fishing. Other than that I am open for suggestions. BTW I would like to get out of the six mile/willow oak area. Anything would be helpful. Just a few and if you do make some references can I get them to match my hook n line?

Let's see the Toledo Bend record weighed 15.32 pounds was caught in July and was caught in Six Mile Creek.

Two weeks ago Donnie Gill's big bass weighted 15.03 pounds was caught in July and was caught "on the Texas side south end". Six Mile or with-in five miles north or south of there which, of course, would include Mill Creek, Housen' Bayou and Indian Mounds

Each of their bass came from 18 to 22 feet with Weems monster hitting a jig while Gill's lunker hit a Texas rigged worm

Tell me again why you want to leave 6 Mile :)

OK, today weather.com says. Sat Hemphill Tx the forecast is scattered t storms 40% 94 degs E/NE wind at 4 mph. I wonder if I should drive 1.5 to 2 hours to fish for a morning, when it could be raining anyway. Hopefully weather.com is wrong like they usually are. But then again a little rain could cool down the water some and it might be worth the trip to fish in a little rain. From what I read. I should stay in 15ft of water + or - 3ft. I know plenty of places that deep in Six Mile/Willow Oak area.
