Table Rock Lake (James RIver Region)

Featured Replies

We are staying at the Wonderful Hideaway Resort located south west of Mile Marker 11 during the 2ND week of May.  We are primarily interested in Crappie and Lrgmth Bass for this trip.  I'm interested in the types of lures to have with us: worms, cranks, spinners, swim baits, etc and colors for this time of the year for fishing along the cliffs and coves.  Also, the spawning activity.. too late or too early, what are the latest reports on the bass activities??  Any insight to the Baxter/Lampe Region for Bass/Crappie Fishing? Any recommendations (besides Aunt Creek) for fishing spots would be appreciated.

See ya on the Water!!

in the past, thats a little late for the spawn by 2-3- weeks. never know though. white bass are good then if shad are still up. chrome/blue traps. pummpkin colored are good baits for bass. good luck! i will be there 2nd week in april for anual crappie trip.
