Hey, just wondering if anybody's planning on heading to Bass Pro this weekend for the sale. My wife's outta town this weekend so I was thinking if anybody was going I might head down.

Can't make it this weekend, but I was there on Washington's Birthday. It was kind of a zoo, but they had clearly stocked up since the last time I visited, before Christmas.

The lure selection seemed kind of spotty to me. I was particularly disappointed in the narrow range of jigs compared to what's available on their Web site, but I did manage to use a gift card I got for Christmas to pick up a few odds and ends.

i was planning on going pretty much just to meet up with a couple of you fella's and to get that bazooka tube from russ, but my state return just got direct deposited to my account, and i'll probably be getting my federal return before this weekend so....

I've only been once and that was the week after Christmas, they hadn't caught up on stocking it at that time.  I think they opened the store a bit early so that they could be open for the Christmas season which would explain why I've heard so many people dissapointed in the assortment of lures...I know I was.  The fish tanks are just awesome though, I sat there for a couple hours.

i actually don't have to work on saturday, so if saturday at noon works better i can do that, either is fine for me though.

Saturday is better for me.  Dirk can come Saturday too.

Yeah forgot about the whole weather thing. Forcasters are saying anywhere from 4-8 up here which means we'll probably either get a dusting or 12 inches. lol. Most of it's supposed to come down tonight so I don't think it'll be a problem by tomorrow late a.m.

I was there Wed. night and the good news is....they were re-stocking the entire fishing section for the big sale. There were carts all over the place.  

I am going Sunday for a seminar at 1:30pm.

I am also going up on 3/6 for the reel trade in program. If anyones going Sunday or on the 6th, maybe I'll see you there.

barring my little POS toyota getting either smashed or stuck somewhere, i will be there tomorrow. i'm not exactly sure i can get there for noon, but i'll be there as close to it as possible because i have to wait for a buddy that's getting some x-ray's in the morning.
