Help ! Fishing By canoe in Md where should I go ?

Hey Guys ,

I just bought a 17 foot Canoe and re-did it from head to toe

Now Im looking for some great Places in Maryland to take her Fishing !

I love it all, from catching perch and catfish with my son, to taking buddies out for a little bass fishing ! I was, thing about getting a sticker for the resoviors but I just dont want to limit myself .

So I would greatly appreciate anyones help with this ! so let me know ! damnit I wanna Fish !

What part of MD are you from?

There is some real good waters up here in frederick that get pretty shallow in the summer wich would be awesome for the canoe. I know the monocacy river seems like the place to go i never go there without seeing atleast one on the water. Hope it helps a little

there is alot of small lakes in the western side around garrett county   like broadford res. savage river res. and a few others

My brother-in-law lives in South Baltimore near the Inner Harbar and owes a canoe. He takes it out by Fort McHenry and catches Perch and Stripers.
