Went to Liberty today and the bass are on the bed right now!  Just about every pocket I fished had one or more beds in it.  I caught about 10 or 12 fish today and all of them came off of the bed.  If you like sight fishing - now's the time to go.

Haha, the famed fishery that is Liberty has quite a pull!

I'm going to college at Mcdaniel, in westminster, md right now.  

I'm planning on hitting up Liberty this weekend.  Was out there 2 weeks ago and all the shallow fish were ignoring baits.  I don't think they were really defending beds then....sounds like they were last weekend!  Hopefully it's on this weekend as well. MDbassMike - what section of the lake were you in?  On shore or in a boat?

I was on the North side of the lake off of Deer Park Rd. and I was fishing from shore.  Sure would love to hook up with someone with a boat though, so I could fish other parts of the lake.  I have a canoe but Liberty is a huge body of water for a canoe.

I plan on going today (5/2)  I'll let you know how I do.
