today wasnt bad, it could have been alot better...  I hooked into something huge and it just came off,  I think i might have foul hooked a carp.  but it took off and my drag was screaming then it just wasnt there lol.  It was a nice adrenaline rush though

idk  but it just seems like its speeding up  but thats ok because they we give me alot of days in may off so i be able to fish the spawn alot   i already have all the weekends off and plans for everyone

where are you getting that info? from what my buddy said kbbc and yough river bass association both started thier schedules.

your right, i just dont fish either of those series lol.  I should have said that tournaments in pa dont start for me until bass season opens on june 22nd lol

You should look into joining a club. I had a club tournament on March 30th. I have another tournament on April 5th. Then I have collegiate tournaments had one in VA early march, Indiana April 12-13. Potomac and susky mid to late april.

our club tournies don't start until the first week of june and thats at erie in new york.  most of our tournaments are in july through october

yea because of PAs laws on no tournaments or keeping bass during the spawn   yea  well good luck at erie  i havent fish over that way for awhile when i normally go i go through port clinton in sandusky ohio  

yeah we usually head up to new york, we're just going for a lunker tournament however.  Mostly because of me, i didnt think it was fair if somebody got on em at erie and got a huge sack of smallmouth.  Theres nowhere else in PA you can do that and it pretty much ruins the AOY race at the beginning of the year

i wish lol, but no i just fish with the state of PA.  like local tournaments, regionals, Mr. BASS, i earned a spot to state teams this year, and i'm hoping to make it to the PA state classic again.  Theres no collegiate bass programs at the school I'm going to.

nice! i'm stuck here in md and all the lakes are too shallow. i did hook a 3 1/2 ft. muskie though.  he broke my 8 lb test in some timber lol, i had him on for 3 mins though
