yea  there are two other bridges where 30 crosses it but thats right in bedford  right across the creek from fort bedford   have u ever fished dunning creek that dumps in there?

Pittsburgh-  the gandermountain in j town is one of the better ones?  really  its the only one i been to and icant stand it   high prices and not a good selection of sizes and colors      

yea i fished dunnings upstream  closer to chestnut ridge   its ok  a few bass in it  alot of pickerl which keeps the amount of forage down  so the smallies really dont get a lot of feed   i never fished it in bedford   i always wanted to but  the raystown river is right there why fish dunnings when i can fish the river

well, i was only there once but it seemed pretty big to me and a nice store.  the one in Washington, PA is even bigger.  

then again, i wasnt shopping for baits in J-town, just went in over the holidays.  

sometimes you are better off trying to find things at walmart if you want the cheapest prices, but I find that Gander is pretty reasonable.  maybe not that one.

pittsburgh- i fish alot of the allegheny but will venture down the mon once and a while   i really like the docks i think its a marina  right at the mouth of the yough river   in mckeesport  

I'll fish for bragging rights. I'm sure i'll be up around raystown a couple times this year.  

And if you guys are talking about fishing the mon.... the ohio produced more for me last year.  and the allegheny is a cess pool unless you know exactly where the schools are.  At the southside regional last year i came in 9th. everyone above me was on a school of fish up the allegheny like 2-3 pools up i think i heard.  but i got ninth with 2 fish.... out of atleast 150 people

yup your right  i fish the feeder river   im not on 26 very long  but yea thats the exit   i have to take 56 to 220 to 30 then 26

yeah its like 2 1/2 hrs for me lol

fishn- im not sure   i been there once   i think its just back roads   bedford is more upstream and is on the other side of the river

bassinbrett- yea  30 runs just about parrell to it    i love it  i catch so many more in the river than i do on the lake  

I'm pretty good on raystown lake.  I'm best in august, i tend to catch lots of keepers. well more than average anglers lol.

i wouldnt mind hitting up the feeder creek tho, we'll have to plan it out in the summer

yea  i need to get a job but yea  we will plan a trip sometime in the summer

lol  yea same here really   i cant wait to start fishing rivers and creeks this year     but im still 2 months away   from good fishing anyways    

lol yea  im going steelhead fishing up in erie tomorrow then trout season starts in april so i only have a month left and hopefully this trip to erie bridges the gap well

hey smallie   are the lakes still frozen?  i havent been to any yet this year but im getting bad cabin fever and i really want to get out and fish for some bass       the pond next to the tennis courts where i practice has cleared   just wondering if the larger lakes are clearing yet

yea   i went out to the queen just for a ride and everything except the back eddies were still frozen  there was even a little bit of ice under green bridge   im going to wait 2 more weeks til i break out the boat
