We had an unbelievable day and 1/2 on Lake St. Claire. Friday afternoon and saturday landed over 300 smallie. over 140 were in the 3 to 4lb range and more that forty were in the 5plus range including several 6.5 and 7's. I have never experienced samllmouth fishing like that before it was incredible. I wnet with a group of guys from my church we had 5 boats with 14 guys. It was a real blast. I want to sent out a big thank you to the member of this forum who pointed us in the right directioin on the lake, you know who you are.

I will definitely be going back it was great. 1st pic is me then my uncle and last my grandfather.

Possibly one of the best fisheries in the Midwest. I fished there last July and it did not seem to me like the dog days of summer. Caught LM, SM, walleye and my partner even caught a 48.5 inch Muskie on a Wiggle Wart.
