NH question

Featured Replies

Quick question for you NH guys.  I go camping several times a year by Lincoln and havent been able to find any good bass ponds/lakes.  Do you guys know any around that area.  The camp site is right before the Kancamagus highway off 93.  I have found good trout spots but no bass.  Thanks for the help!

I've heard that Moore Reservoir up in Littleton is loaded with smallmouth.  I have been meaning to get up there for a while, but haven't had the chance.

What about Russell Pond? Not sure if there are bass but you could look it up. For good bass fishing you wanna head east toward Conway and hit up Conway Lake, Chocorua Lake, Silver Lake, and Ossipee Lake. I'm heading up to The Kank in mid July and stopping at Ossipee Lake on the way. Good trout fishing up there though.

Did you end up finding any bass ponds/lakes? Piermont is maybe 30 minutes from lincoln and there you will find Lake Tarleton. They have a nice boat launch and the place is loaded with bass. It's not uncommon for me to go out and catch 20 fish in a couple hours. The problem is, maybe 2 of those fish will be 1.5-2 pounds...  the rest are pretty small. I've convinced myself that there are big fish in there, I just have to find them  :o

I've caught a few really nice trout there as well.

Ditto! Excellent Smallmouth fishing.
