Camping & Fishing w/the dogs?

Featured Replies

I'm looking for a campground in RI or MA  on the water that will allow dogs so we can head out in the jon boat for the day and do some bass fishing later in the season.

Thanks in advance! ;)

I'll ask my parents they are part of a camping club and go throughout RI/MA to stay.. I'll get you some names of places with Ponds/allow dogs..

Paul, I'm in!!

How about the Cape?  My sister lives in Yarmouth in case the weather turned absolutely ugly too.

Does Nickerson State Park allow tents/fires/dogs?

ps- How is the cold?  Sorry about that but I warned you, lol.  You canceling on me for last night turned out to be a blessing in disguise ;)  I'll explain in person, lol.  I had a goooood night, hehehe  (no, I didn't fish)

this probablly has a waitress in the story 8-)

Last time I was at Nickerson they did allow dogs but not sure about fires.. I will be down at Scussett Beach campground this weekend. It is right at the end the canal. (striper fishing too) I'm planning on bringing the Bass Boat so If anyone wants to join me just let me know.

Pinewood Lodge and Sandy Pond are in Plymouth MA Pinewood has a Pond on site. I think Sandy pond does too..

I'll get you the list tonight from my parents.

It more then likely has to do with a small woodland creature and a jar of Jiffy :-X ;D

Hey Russ it's good to know you'll just invite yourself! How about fishing the Smallie pond this Sunday 4AM instead?

Oh...would mind letting yourself know that this camping trip is for the dog's, alone time and rejuvination? I'm just not ready to cuddle up to you at night, especially with my dog's watching! Besides, I'd have to take the girl before I took you or I wouldn't be breathing very much longer.

Another time my freind! ;) With all the new gear I'll be camping a lot more!
