In all seriousness that is a great idea WTRDOG! I have a ton of plastics I will throw in for a prize,Senko's Creatures,Frogs,Worms, and a Banjo Minnow kit .

Maybe we could do a small cash pool (10 bucks ahead) or something for a "lunker" prize or something....

I have no idea what the legality around that is or if anyone else even thinks it's a good idea...but just a thought since I don't really have anything cool to contribute except for wise@ss remarks....  ;D ;D .... of course that's subjective I suppose

I'm pulling a permit for this event so lets have some thoughts on an alternative pond/location just in case. I'll be making the permit call Monday morning.We will go with the majority for the alternative pond, this Sunday evening 8/17/08.

Me and my partner Cigarlover are going to be pretty hard to beat....His PB is a 53" tree branch about 3 lbs .That will be hard to top.I haven't caught one over 40" myself this year.... : :
