Swimbait only night get together/bragging rights T

Featured Replies

This will be a multi-site event, BR N.E.F. gathering. No entry fee! Fish, shoot the breeze about your largest SB fish or the monster that got away, show off your SB collection. Thinking of 9/6/08 lake TBD. I've got a few already interested, so I'm trying to get feel for the group size prior to picking the body of water and pulling the permit.

I'm thinking of turning this into teams or singles 5 fish limit. Entry fee $20 or stay at $10 if $20 means we're going to lose people. What's everbody's thought on teams/singles,5 fish, $20 entery, 70/30 split w/$5 opt. lunker?

Remember I still have to see if it's available.

Where's all the BR swimbaiters? 4 slots left. If we bump this to $20 and get 15 boater's we can pay out 1st 2nd and 3rd. 50/30/20 split.

Where is Monpossett? Is this another 9pm to 5 am T??

Thanks,

ajr

Alan, It's in Halifax MA and was from 7PM to Midnight. But I have to cancel do to the nasty weather and concern for the smaller crafts like myself.

Paul,

Does it have to be a swimbait torney only?I only own 2, both rago rat's ,had an ms slammer but lost it on a bluefish..... :D

I'm in if/when this gets re-scheduled. Big boats or little boats? Also, I need a Mass. license, don't I?

P.S.

I think a broad definition of "swimbait" is in order? Let's get an opinion from the guy who came up with the idea???

As long as it's advertised as a swimbait it could be used. I'm booked solid until October. 9/13 prefish Long pond ,9/20 Long Pond T,9/27 My Stafford T. Looks like a Spring SB T for me, though I did ask Carl if he wanted to take it over and set a new date. I'm considering having a T on Belville in early October. Belville is a trolling motor only pond, but has some huge fish. :D Lost a couple over 6lbs on the Hudd :'( and this is where my PB of 7+ came in March of 2007.
