What are some of the things you do differently as the water temp drops back into the sixties?

What depth of water do you fish and do you change your style?

Some say they fish the same as in the spring, but that hasn't worked for me.

Just looking to share some tips with other colder weather fisherman!

Early Fall; Water temps in Low 60's and Upper 50's , Jigs on submerged rocks and shallow cranks to get over the dying grass and weed beds

Mid Fall: I associate this with the upper layer of water in the 5 lower 50's TURNOVER STARTS, the fish are literally all over the place, your guess is as good as mine. I find one here and one there. In mid day, over submerged roks seems the best here

Late Fall; 15 ft and better and slow is the game

after Mid Oct I am done for the year it is too cold after that. I don't fish through the hard water.

Honestly, I dress warmer, thats it!

Traps  ;D  8 to 15 ' of water.  Keep a good hold on your rod ;D

Fall equals LARGER LURES Swimbait time! Plus 10" worms.

Time to start slowing down and time to start fishing the opposite clock schedule.  In the heat of summer, we keep the outings in the dark hours, now we will be aiming for the peak heat hours, 11-3ish

Big, slow baits

Fish are looking to maximize their efficiency.  Big meals that provide lots of energy but require very little energy to catch.  Fat building is the bass' prime objective from here on out.
