I live around Hunt Valley and planning a fishing trip to the Potomac for smallies. I have a 14ft jon with a 6hp. Where is a good place to put in without hitting too many rocks ? Looking for some deeper water.

When I hit the Potomac, I put in over here in Washingrton county. That's about an hour and a half from you. I hit Dargens Bend today. Big mistake! It was too nice out! Any fishable water I found, I had to compete with the wonderful jet skiers.  >   I really wanted to fish some deeper water but they pretty much killed that thought!
