Lake Monroe Indiana

Featured Replies

Hey guys,

I'm going to be fishing at Lake Monroe the 20th for my first tournament.  I was wondering if anyone could give me any tips about the lake.

Rayraff,

Get a hot spots map and hit the points around Allens Creek,And Harden Ridge.

Also the areas of Pine Grove and Paynetown have been productive for me.

Last but not least along the shoreline of Cutright recreation area.

Natural colors have worked well for me in the past.

I'm sure there are more and better spots but these are my favorites.

If allowed stay close to the ramp and fish for soremouth fish. If not saddle creek has been producing some nice keepers in the very back using frogs and texas rigs. Slow side has produced alot better catches in the last few big tournaments I have fished in.
