Had to go with the Cumara. The price was just too good to pass up. I'm leaning towards the Revo for the reel.

I broke my worm rod this weekend and am trying to pick out a new combo before I graduate and lose my college club's deal on equipment. My previous combo was the standard team Daiwa MH worm rod with an older blue quantum energy. I'm trying to decide between a Cumara, Avid or GL2 for the rod. I don't want to replace this rod for a long time so a good warranty is a huge plus. The reel will obviously be matched with the rod but unfortunately, I don't have an opportunity to try out the combo in person before I order. For the reel, I'm trying to decide between a Curado 200G or a Revo SX Gen 3. I own a Curado right now and I love it, however the new Curados are not getting good reviews. I've never had the opportunity to really use Revo for more than a couple casts and I haven't tried the gen 3 at all. Anyway, I need your help! I'd appreciate your opinions especially ones without too much brand bias if that's possible .

My parents moved to a house on Lake Oconee and I'll be spending my spring break fishing there. Can anyone help me out with some places to start fishing next week?

What are your favorite colors on the Eeliminator?

In past week this has quickly become my favorite. It's a MegaStrike Shak-E2 head with a skirt and a June Bug floating trick worm.

Its a 1in diameter spot in my truck. Worst comes to worst I'll just cut the spot out.

Thanks for the tips. I used a ton of febreeze and some carpet cleaner. The smell is a more bearable now. Ill do it once a day until i can't smell it anymore.

Like the title explains. My bottle of jj's opened up in my car and it spilled a few dropped making a chartreuse spot about 1in in diameter. I'm tired of smelling garlic all the way to work.

This isn't my first time taking apart a reel. I just can't figure out how to get the handle assembly off.

Hey guys, I was fishing early this morning and my buddy snagged my rod and flung it into the water. I just bought this quantum used 3 days ago so I wasn't about to let it rest on the bottom of the lake. So I grabbed my scuba gear and after 15minutes of searching in 0-vis water I finally found it . Now I want to take this reel completely apart and re-lube it because it was fully submerged for a good hour. I took out the spool, got the 2 screws there, and I took out the stabilizer bar. I still can't get the side off. Any ideas?

I got a pair of Solar Bats that are great but my favorite pair is Native SS dash. They are extremely comfortable, have a great polarization, plus if you ever scratch your lenses or break the glasses you can send them back to the factory and get a new pair.

My dad and I take quite a few trips up to Canada for pike and lake trout. We found that a Rapala weedless spoon with a split tail drives the pike insane. It will outfish a silver minnow any day of the week. Luckily we scooped up 50 or so for <$3. They are atleast $8 on ebay now ;D

I have the same tool without the scale. It works great especially if you are canoeing or in a boat with limited space. I landed a 41" Northern with the tool last summer.

I'm actually in the process of taking a mid 80s 373v from storage for 5 years with a 150 Johnson. The first problem I have was a hole in the gas line. While I'm replacing that I'm going to be do the rest of them. The second problem is a frozen trim solenoid. The motor will trim up but not down.

Wacky Rigged Senko/Trick Stick. I fish in mostly ponds around my house and Senkos are the way to go. Try using a T-rig, or catch a couple bluegill and use them as bait.

Hey guys, I'm going to be fishing at Lake Monroe the 20th for my first tournament. I was wondering if anyone could give me any tips about the lake.

Mann's 1- has caught me more fish than any other crank i've owned. Unfortunatly, they are kind of hit and miss. Some have amazing wobble while others just plain suck. I just took a trip to Boundry Water and I was slaying the smallies on a Rapala Hot Chub Taildancer.

My dad used to fish the Mann's jelly worm. He still has hundreds of them in his garage along with a bottle of the Grape scent. When ever I get wiffs of that scent it brings me back to years ago when I fished with my dad every weekend
